This was a true Utica Lady Comets program championship! Girls from our 18u, 16u and 14u teams came together to win the Cling to Summer Classic played in Nazareth, PA on August 22nd-23rd.

The team members were: Alivia Neff, Emery Crossley, Hannah Rossi, Charlotte Jones, Jenna Mills, Savannah Burns, Olivia Friend, Kerrigan Crysler, Maggie Cummings, Maggie Burdick, Taylor Raux and Elora Wilmot.

The team was coached by Kareem Jones, Laurie Jones and Louie Friend.

A powerful hitting line up was key to the team's success. Five (5) different players hit seven (7) home runs over the weekend. Maggie Burdick and Taylor Raux each hit two (2) home runs. Olivia Friend, Jenna Mills and Maggie Cummings each hit a home run. Maggie Cummings shot was a grand slam and the first home run of her career!

Elora Wilmot did a fantastic job pitching, keeping great hitting teams off balance over the weekend.

It was a great way to end the 2019-2020 season for the program. There will be many more championships for these girls in the future!
