The Utica Lady Comets 16u BLUE followed up a championship last week with another championship win in the 18u/16u Division of the FSA September Classic in Allentown, PA. The team went 4-1 on the weekend, winning the championship game against the Lehigh Valley Heat 18U 8 to 2. The team hammered fourteen hits in the game. Maggie Cummings #11 (2023), Savannah Cole #3 (2023), Camryn Shenk #00 (2025) and Madison Obreza #12 (2022) lead the charge with multiple hits in the game. Cummings started her day with a two-run homerun to give the Lady Comets an early lead in the first inning. Dee Coby #4 (2022) got the win only allowing 2 hits over five innings before turning it over to Kerrigan Crysler #10 (2023) to finish off the game.
